Iyengar Yoga
Iyengar Yoga focuses on three aspects:alignment, sequencing and timing.
Iyengar Yoga is a form of yoga as exercise with a focus on the structural alignment of the physical body through the practice of asanas. It differs from other styles of yoga in three ways: precision, sequence and use of props. Precision is sought in body alignment in every asana.
Iyengar yoga helps improve the overall functioning of the bod, from the circulatory and lymph systems, to the nervous system and digestion. When the body's systems are working at their best capacity, organs are nourished, toxins are eliminated, and the risk of some diseases decreases.
